The curtain has fallen on Cosmofood 2016 in Vicenza Fair center.

Top names in the food world bring 40.000 visitors in the 3 pavillions of the fair contributing to the fair success that completed its 4th edition.

450 exhibitors divided into retail and business. In this latter, business operators have found the best companies with the latest news in restaurant technology collecting satisfaction between exhibitors that asked for partecipate in the next edition. Cosmofood 2017 will expand in that very direction.

In retail area visitors can discover, taste and buy thousands of excellence in italian and international food products directly from producers. They can also promote their product to business operators that are also visitors too.

The ARENA FOR EVENTS was a great wager won, the main news in the 2016 edition. 4 big in food world animated it: first Lorenzo Cogo (pic. 1) , the youngest Italian Starred Chef that Saturday morning presented his avant-garde cuisine. Sunday afternoon Giuliano Baldessari (pic. 2) Starred Chef of Aqua Crua Restaurant and Judge in the Reality show “TOP CHEF” shows his illusionist cuisine in which nothing is what it seems. On Monday the most famous Italian food blogger, with hundreds of thousands of followers Chiara Maci (pic.3) cooked one of her fresh dishes always focused on health. Tuesday, was for Top Pastry Chef Ernst Knam (pic.4) and for his Christmas Cookies lesson and chocolate show.

Food lovers and business operators wanted to meet them and enjoy their shows learning something 

 SOME FIGURES

Cosmofood business aim was confirmed by the great number of professional operators that filled pavillions dedicated to Ho.Re.Ca. and equipment for food. Compared with the 2015 edition this area has been doubled.

Cosmofood collaborated also with some foreign Chamber Of Commerce to introduce its self outside the country. These collaborations bring international exhibitors from Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Afghanistan and Germany.

Another important collaboration was with Italian Federation chefs from Vicenza, already confirmed for 2017 edition.

Tasting class in Cosmofood 2016

EVENTS

Interaction and knowledge during the four days to involve visitors with Workshop, seminars, tasting classes, show cooking.

 

Some events was for business operators to offer them the possibility to be updated with news in food sector.

The cooking lesson “Macarons a regola d’arte” was in over booking, the “cooking in pot” course for business operators “, the tasting class “Beer Sommelier” and the one “Vino, piada e salumi” was sold-out and also the Pastry course with the top Chef Ernst Knam.

Events gave the possibilty to exhibitors to promoted their product provide them for chef that cooked thei dishes with them during the tasting classes and the courses.
