This is how started the third edition of Cosmofood, the food, beverage and technology exhibition scheduled to be held at the Centro Fiera di Vicenza from 14th to 17th november (sat-tue).

“We are here to celebrate the Italian food and wine culture” explained Mauro Grandi, director of Cosmofood, during the ribbon cutting ceremony together with Filippo Zanetti, councillor for the innovation of Vicenza’s municipality.


With more than 3 thousand products displayed, Cosmofood can be compared to a real tour of Italy. And even beyond. It presents the ultimate culinary production able to satisfy both interests of the curious food lovers and the ones of the professional visitors, always searching for fresh ideas for their own activities. «The key of Cosmofood’s success- admits Mauro Grandi – lies in its capability to offer a 360 degrees vision on the food and restaurant industry. Even from the very first hours of the opening the turnout of visitors has been significant. People really appreciate the possibility to shop directly at the stands. In Cosmofood, our visitors can find the world of food and beverage to take away». The events scheduled during the 4 days of the trade show are more than 100 divided into: training courses, tastings, presentations and seminars. 


The reason behind the success obtained by Cosmofood stands in the capability to involve a public composed by restaurant industry professionals but also food & wine enthusiasts as well. Both professionals and visitors are able to become familiar with products and producers and gain positive experience thanks to many different occasions offered inside the event. All of this contributes to turn the visit into a real opportunity of professional and cultural growth.

The big news of this year is represented by a new pavillion (number 1 at Fiera di Vicenza) entirely occupied by Cosmotech, the exhibition of the professional equipment with the latest technologic novelties linked to the restaurant service and provided by various food distributors among the exhibitors.
Pavillion 7 will be devoted to food & wine. Excellent quality products coming from every part of Italy will be exposed in the sector of wine (Cosmowine) Beer ( Cosmobeer) and, as already mentioned, top quality products (Food). Among the delights of the Italian gastronomy, it is worth mentioning the gold medal rewarded cheeses from the last edition of the Caeus Veneti contest, available for purchase and also the presence of the producers companies protected by the Slow Food presidium label. A substantial area is dedicated to Food IntolerancesGluten Free and Organic & Vegan products, following a trend that is increasingly relevant for the public and so, interesting for the professional sector as well looking for new growth opportunities.

The opening hours of these latter pavillions have been modified: Pavillion 7 (Food & Beverage world) will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 22pm. This was made precisely to allow the food lovers to enjoy their time inside the areas, experiencing all the tasty opportunities and have lunch or dinner inside the trade fair itself
