Cosmofood, second edition

Great success, with 30.000 visitors and an increase of 50% compared to 2013. These are the final numbers of the second edition of Cosmofood, the exhibition dedicated to food, beverage & technology organized by the company Mantova In srl and went on stage at Vicenza Fair from 1st to 4th November 2014. The event, sponsored by the City of Vicenza and the Province of Vicenza, led a diverse audience, made up of lovers and families, professionals catering, professionals and students, to discover the excellence of Italian Food & Beverage and to the Technology dedicated to it.

To welcome them, 220 exhibitors from all over Italy, number increased by 100% compared to last year, spread over 15.000 square meters of the new Hall 7 in Fiera di Vicenza. An increase that together with the great audience participation has made Cosmofood a point of reference for companies and the market of italian food and wine.

More than 70 events for consumer and professional

During the four days, Cosmofood offered 75 events including courses, seminars, tastings and demonstrations, in a format that combined with the exhibition made a rich program of events dedicated to 360 ° experiential food quality and technological innovation. The event has involved the most important associations, such as AIS, AIPO, AMIRA, FISAR, ONAF, ONAV, various cooking schools, food bloggers and starred chefs, including Carlo Cracco. The famous chef, born in Vicenza, has performed on the final day in a showcooking at the stand Electrolux - Elettrocasa Expert.

Area bio-vegani and gluten free

The area of Cosmofood has been divided into 7 thematic areas. With three great new features: Cosmowine, an area exclusively dedicated to the best of the wine industry; Cosmobeer with over twenty Italian and European microbreweries  as a representation of the excellence of craft beer; and Cosmotech, all focused on the latest technological innovations in the restaurant business. Along with the novelties, the food&beverage area, the Restaurant area and the area of Organic food - Vegan food - Gluten-Free food, the latter particularly sensitive to the issue of food allergies and alternative diets.

We just have finished this edition but we are thinking yet to the next one. See you in November 2015!
